I like your changes. It would also be nice to see the category the story is a part of. The old Propeller let you know what topic you were looking at at a glance. I also enjoyed the pinned story banner. Did anyone complain about either of these features?

I do agree with several other members that so much white space is a waste. Get rid of some of the white space and it is possible to have all the present elements on the page, plus be able to include more stories on one page.
Yes, Indy, I, too, would like to see the categories put back. I tried going into the Categories, trying to bypass the fluff stories, but when I clicked on "more", I merely got a blank page. What's up with that. Is that to come later? And I would like to go back to having more channels (categories).
My biggest gripe is all the spam now on the site. I am spending as much time reporting spam as reading stories. Guess the staff is too busy trying to fix things to monitor the stories for spam.
And while I am on my rant, think the groups are a waste of time and do not really serve any purpose.
