The lecture is I believe roughly 60 minutes long, but you won't spend a better 60 minutes watching any other lecture.

So sad... I just finished his book. He squeezed more life out of his last days than some people have in all of theirs.

Just heard Randy passed away. What an incredible gift he left for his family and friends, not to mention the way he has helped others in dealing with what little time they may have left.

This wonderful mans lecture inspired me to get all I can out of life and be greatful that I don't have Pancreatic cancer and get up each day looking forward to life. I

I hope it is a long time before I have to look death in the face again, people that face death have the greatest appreciation for life.

I heard of this pretty amazing lecture, but never really got to watch it or get the link until now.

I saw about this on Oprah over a year ago and then again this spring, life is something so special and many of seem to forget that fact.
I hope that the message that he spread to so many people will continue because being a child at heart and dreaming are some of the things that make the world a better place. I didn't watch the lecture so this is sort of from what I saw on TV.
My sympathies to his family and those who knew him.

As reported in his NY Times obit today:

"[Pausch] did...mention that he experienced a near-deathbed conversion: he switched and bought a Macintosh computer."

                    My kind of guy.

Rest in peace...though that quality seams to have been very much part of his life.
