Online polls=useless. I don't care what the results are. Barack himself says he expected no bump, but it was pretty clearly a campaign trip and he was pretty clearly expecting a bump from this. Rasmussen and Gallup Daily both seemed to record a bump for him, with Gallup Daily having him ahead by 9 yesterday and 8 today. Rasmussen had him with a narrower 5 or 6 point lead, I believe. This poll seems like an outlier to me.

Well... Obviously Gallup is wrong.
Why our Obama doesn't have 80% is only because 20% are brain-dead.

As a recent convert to Obamanism, I can assure you He is still comfortably in the lead and that he is actually pulling away regardless of what the polls show.-

FTA: "Because of close nature of the past two elections, I believe that these national polls mean nothing."
Indeed. It's all about the electoral votes. National polls are fluff. State-by-state polling after the conventions will show you much more clearly than any national poll.
Sometimes I think these polls are produced merely to get people interested in reading the particular news outlet.

McCain wins in landslide! Democratic Congress calls for investigation of pollsters Gallup, Rasmussen and others. Pelosi and Reid call for Florida recount after 1000's of hanging chads found in Boy Scout paper drive.

All this means is that if you give a crap about your country you better get out and vote!
That is the only way to end the neocon reign. Obama's responsibility is to raise that sense of urgency. To snap those Americans who have ignored the polling place out of their somnabulant ways. Without such a n awakening it's business as usual and we will see a repeat of '00 and '04. We have seen the results of 8 years of GOP leadership and they do not hold much promise for the future of America.
You would think Americans were smarter than that but the track record indicates otherwise.
By the way I think if he picks Kaine as his VP it is a bad move. Just not a recognizable enough figure.

America is too smart to fall for a carnival huckster like Obama.

Thats why he is going backwards.
I was deeply offended at his speech in Germany.
Especially when he brought up topics of poor judgment in front of non voters.
He has no pride in America. His choices in friends and mentors show that too. -
