Germany liberalized. They don't need new Nazis polluting their society. Maybe we can ship them to the tribal regions of Pakistan or perhaps Saudi Arabia. Their outlook on life is more closely related to extreme religious fanaticism and the resulting mayhem such ideas foster. They would feel right at home.

I really don't think my fellow Christian Conservatives realize that Right Wing Hate Radio and FOX is grooming them to be 'Hate-Bots'.
For instance, member Nixie has been private messaging me, complaining that I promote hate.
Well, this stunned me on several levels. First of all, I try to be nice to everyone --- for which I am the target of vilification from my fellow Righties.
But what I found MOST astonishing is, that while Nixie is interpreting my honest appraisal of George W. Bush's policies as being hateful ... Nixie CONSISTENTLY gives POSITIVE votes to all the most vile, insult laden comments by the whole milieu of angry righties ... such as icono, libsRfunny, Endoscopy, MichaelRodente, aniokly, and of course, the specialist in 'hate posts' ... FSU92grad ... who makes up for his being so un-informed by honing an overtly hostile, insult laden, extremely bitter delivery.
See, I learned from Nixie that, Right Wing Media has GROOMED and CONDITIONED these sad individuals that there is only ONE truth ... and if you don't agree with that truth ... then you are fair game ... and for many, like the Church Shooter ... it's an easy step over the line to violence.
BTW ... I should tell you that Nixie's last Private Message to me said how she thought I was DISHONEST!!!
Like one of my fellow Christian Conservatives would care about THAT! I mean, Christian Conservatives LOVE GeeDub ... and his lying led us to the most ill-conceived war in our history.
But what I found so interesting about Nixie claiming I was 'Dishonest' ... she REGULARLY supports member OmegaGnosis in all of her Partisan, Divisive stories ...
.... even the one in which Omega fabricated that hate story about Michelle Obama being a racist.

What needs to happen here is for people to start taking responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming their mental illness, stupidity and crimes on those around them. If Fox and their broadcasters are to blame, then we are all in big trouble seeing that they have the highest rating for news. We all better become very good at dodging bullets.

The most telling aspect of this thread is the clear, outspoken inabilityt of the liberal mindset to assess this man by his actions as opposed to the contents of his living quarters. And they can't even get their bloviating consistent.
The man claimed to be angry at liberals, yet when a neighbor told him her daughter graduated from bible school, his disposition changed for the worse.
How about we judge public and college education by the massacres carried out on school campuses? Oh wait...they toe the evolution line. They and their academic content are exempt from scrutiny.
How about we judge the US Postal Service by the many workplace shootings they have? We could also look at their employee demographics to see if that offers a clue? Nope...that would portray minorities negatively.
But here's a lone shooter with two conservative books in his house. (O'Reilly is not a conservative, but there's no convincing the mind-numbed liberal of that fact.) Aha! He acted ONLY because of two books by conservative authors! BLAME the authors!
The childish absence of a parallel thought process or two is astonishing, and these brainiacs not only refuse to see it, they revel in it. Much less their willingness to toss rule of law out the door in favor of adjudication by ideology.
Hopefully reason will prevail and the idiocy is limited to fora such as this.

It's lunatic to posit partisanship of any brand as the fulcrum or rationale of the guy's actions.
But from the psychological POV, the hatred of liberals and gays DOES point to an authoritarian mindset, which is characterized by, among other things, a penchant for moralizing, for dichotomous thinking (right/wrong, good/bad, strong/weak, etc.), and the love of order and control.
Draw your own conclusions about which kinds of people share this worldview--which is NOT to say that said people are by definition given to criminality.

If you don't like Hannity there is Alan Colmes. I posted this on the last story about this gunman, and I feel it needs restating here:
The politics of hate.How can anyone grow to hate liberals so much? Constant messages about liberals being evil and morally vacant and doing the devil's work.
Yet what do I see on this thread?
A bunch of liberals saying that all conservatives are evil, morally vacant, and doing the devil's work, and vice-versa.
What makes a man go crazy and do something so terrible? He's been brainwashed by the repeated mantra: the other side is evil, the other side is evil, the other side is evil...
Sure, Karl Rove may have played a part in the politics of hate being so widely accepted, but anyone who lumps all 'conservatives' or 'liberals' into one huge category of badness is just as responsible because they ACCEPTED the politics of hate, and they SPREAD it.
Some people (conservatives and liberals) are far more open to the power of suggestion. This guy probably heard from his friends and coworkers day after day "liberals are ruining the country"... and so, he decided to do the only rational thing he could to try to save the country: kill as many liberals as he can.
toph, I don't mean to pick on you, but you provided a couple of excellent examples on the other thread:
