Why would anyone have any expletives about current prices , it is our fault we need to drive back and forth to work , and we should be glad we only pay $4.00 a gallon because in other countries it is higher ($.25 in Venezuela) , so it has been spun before .-

I agree with you, eyes. EXXON is the poster child for bad behavior on profits, but they are only the 17th largest oil company in the world, the first 16 being National Oil Companies (NOC's) who control the price of oil via OPEC. I would ask them to imagine the profit of Saudi Aramco, which could have profits of 100-200 billion for the quarter ... I don't know.

It's not so much the price of oil, it's who we pay for the oil that counts. If we have our own and buy it from ourselves, we create multitudes of good jobs that build our economy, not theirs.
OPEC will always try to control supply to keep prices high, but they will respond to the danger that we develop our own reserves and cut them out. They don't want us to develop our own supplies.
