I'm not that big into conspiracies, but this one always seemed to stink of being an inside job. It was only sent to the more liberal parts of the media, and only sent to the 2 most powerful liberal politicians, who were up until the anthrax attacks, the most likely to not go along with such things as the patriot act, war with Iraq and so on...

Entire thing just stinks... Greenwald did a good piece on this when the most recent news broke that goes into more detail for anyone wanting to see what all went down, especially in regards to ABC news which says it had 4 sources saying the Anthrax was Iraqi(even though it wasn't)

Most people are beginning to realize that 9-11 was mastermind by elements within our own government. It's obivious that the World Trade Center had explosives inside and the 47 story Building 7 collapsing into its own footprint on the afternoon of 9-11 proves beyond reasonable doubt that dark forces were at work.

Well there is a story going around.I can't say if it has any merit.Allegedly when the world trade towers were attacked the first time,a group of Al Quaida operatives

infiltrated the crew who were working on the clean up and repairs.Being almost
totally unsupervised, these agents were able to plant explosives and sabotage
the structural integrity of the two towers for a later more effective attack.
Supposedly,when a certain incumbant president has the opportunity to apprehend the
mastermind behind this plan he made a deal.He would not take custody of this villian
under the condition that the towers would not be attacked again while he was in office.
If he was not elected to a second term or even later,if his vice president was not elected to the presidency , the terrorist organization could then proceed with their
evil operation.Of course this is just a conspiracy theory like the many that have been
come forth before this one.....

Come on Wolfie. This administration has lied to us at every instance. That is a fact. There are over 900 instances where Bush either has lied or he sent out his minions to lie for him. Somehow there maybe one instance he didn't lie and it's time for a ntional holiday. How?

Seriously, the quotations from Bush & McCain are a matter of public record, so there is plenty to support the claim that the two tried to falsely pin the blame for anthrax poisoning on Iraq.

David Kelley, who reported the Iraq intelligence was 'sexed up", was found dead in 2003, I believe. Although the conditions and lack of copious amounts of blood at the scene bring that conclusion into question.
Ivins sounds like a patsy.
And this lying administration trying to use biological terrorism for their gain? Given the amount of BS BushCo has been caught wallowing in, I'm through giving them the benefit of the doubt. Call for ACCOUNTABILITY, Cons, and tell Bush to open up the files and have his people actually go on the record in front of Congress. HONOR and INTEGRITY demand it. -

Does this really surprise anyone? There was a time when a charge like this would make headlines all over the country but we've become immune to these charges and counter charges between the Right and Left in this country!

This is a very dangerous situation. When you don't know who to believe in, you believe in no one. And if you believe in no one ,what is left but despair, frustration and disengagement.
We have Impeachment and War Crimes being bandied about on one side while the other seems content in allowing the Executive Branch to exercise their "options".
Whoever becomes the next President will be sitting on a powder keg. The last thing this country needs are more wedge issues designed for short term gain. We need a bridge builder and healer or these disagreements WILL turn into battle lines.... -

Seems to me this was probably a human nature type thing. At the time, we were attributing almost supernatural powers to OBL and Al Queda. I could well see GWB assuming that any new "attacks" were from them.

But then the problem becomes "who?" Al Queda is out; Hatfill is out; unless I assume the FBI are total incompetents, Ivins is probably out.
