Hillary Supporters Are Mad and They're Not Going to Take It Anymore! »

The Obama team is playing hardball with supporters of his former rival.

f further evidence was needed, a report by Politico’s Ben Smith confirmed that all is not well within the Democratic Party. It seems that Democratic supporters of Hillary Clinton are attempting to secure her right to a roll call at the Convention by emailing members of the DNC. The hostile and sometimes threatening emails these Democrats have received back from DNC officials have been posted at the blog of Puma PAC.

There are stories kicking around about how African-Americans in at least two states (South Carolina and New York itself) who supported Hillary Clinton ended up with primary opponents in their own races for re-election to punish them for being pro-Clinton. This is not the way to win. There are stories kicking around that the reason (or one of them) that the highly effective Hillraisers are not raising the kind of money for Obama that they raised for Clinton is because they have been told that no matter what they do, they will never be the “equal” of the Obama fundraisers.

And what will the Puma members do after the Convention? Murphy concedes, “We’re realists. … We know the DNC is committed to the path of nominating their chosen candidate.” In November she explains, “We are protesting the election.” Members will sit home, write in Hillary’s name or vote for John McCain. She explains, “That up to them. That’s part of our whole philosophy.”

and in the caucuses, she contends there are ample instances (documented in the case of Texas caucus for the Dallas election office) of “astonishing” instances of chaos, fraud and intimidation.

Fraud and intimidation? NO!!!!! Not Barack the candidate of change..............

If Obama loses, Hillary will be a strong candidate against John McCain in four years. Her supporters know that. Her "people" have already purchased the domain "HillaryClinton2012.com", you know.

They know that the Super delegates and the "committed" delegates can vote anyway they please. If it looks like Obama is self destructing, it would not take many delegates to change their vote to give Hillary the nomination

Eevn if Obama crashes and burns, it's uncertain that Hillary can win the Democratic nomination in 2012. She's toast among the black voters and DailyKos types. But if those two groups are unable to unite behind a single candidate, she has a shot.

”I’ve been out there fighting to elect Democrats for the better part of three decades. I know what it’s like to win, and I know what it’s like to lose, and winning is definitely better. And believe me, you don’t win by denouncing people on your own side (or even the other side), by questioning their motives, impugning their integrity, and making clear that there is no room for anyone who views this as a political contest rather than a test of faith.”

              Lets think this through.
1: Hillary could knock Obama out and get the nomination (where's that "surprise" we kept hearing about
2: If Hillary doesn't get the nomination, and Mccain gets elected, she gets a shot and a realistic chance in 4 years to run for Pres. If Obama is elected- she has to wait 8 or 12 years, depending upon how bad things get under Obama. She'll be too old by then. Naturally it makes sense for Hillary supporters to Vote McCain at this time.

This is totally rediculous...Hillary and fan fare need to accept what has happened with in the party and support Obama. This appears to be a throw back to nowhere fast.

This is the reason that the Dems probably won't win. I'm not a republican but you can't deny that regardless of their ideology they know how to tow the "party-line". No pun intended.

The Democrats need to wake up and realize there simply is not enough time for Obama to EARN THE TRUST OF THE VOTERS and there is too much at stake to just hand this election to the republicans! Our COURTS, ECONOMY, ENVIRONMENT, INTERNATIONAL STANDING, WOMEN'S RIGHTS.... Are at stake! THIS CALLS FOR A CREATIVE SOLUTION. OBAMA MUST NOMINATE HILLARY AT THE CONVENTION. If he serves two terms as HIILARY’S VP, perhaps he can then be elected to the awesome position of President of the United States. Think what an exciting convention that will be! Think of the media coverage! Think how wise and courageous Obama will appear. The republicans will not be able to adjust their strategy and Dems will win the White House! yeah!
