...This isn't to say the "celeb" ads are't working in some way. They may well be. But the GOP's previous virtuosity at political ridicule is more or less gone. The barbs have a sneering, defensive, high-school-lunchroom-hazing quality to them. Obama is proving a far less mockable figure than Kerry was.
