An endorsement of Obama by a Bushie? I mean c'mon, Dems, Rice is the enemy, she's a race traitor who's been kissing Bush-butt for years. You can't seriously want HER to say anything positive about Obama, do you?

she also said a lot of other things which are not mentioned in this very flimsy and misleading article.
a more complete transcript is above
she also mentioned that TIME IS RUNNING OUT ON IRAN
which is why she would feel safe if Obama were elected because by then Iran would cease to be a problem......-

Well yes, Condi (like Colin Powell) has done well personally out of toadying-up to ZionCon interests in America.
Reply
Condi Rice and the Neocon Plan for the Palestinians
.... Condi Rice is likely the least qualified Secretary of State in recent history, especially considering her field of expertise is the Soviet Union, a political non-entity. However, since Washington is all about who you know--or suck up to--Rice is an appropriate selection for the Bushcons, considering she was a tenured professor of political science at Stanford, stomping grounds for the Hoover Institution, a neocon "public policy research center," on occasion referred to as Bush's "brain trust." Between 1985 and 1986, Condi was a national fellow at the Hoover Institution....
...It should be remembered that Rice, as a Christian Zionist, disclosed a "deep bond to Israel" back in 2003. "I first visited Israel in 2000," Rice told the Jewish Press on May 13, 2003....
... Of course, as a neocon acolyte, Condi Rice is not interested in peace in the Middle East, least of all between the Palestinians and Israelis, and even less so then her predecessor, who was often at odds with the Bushcon "crazies," as he so famously called them. Rice's Hoover Institution is closely aligned with other neocon foundations, including the Project for a New American Century and the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, the latter particularly rabid in its opposition to any meaningful resolution of the conflict--that is to say, Israel's theft and occupation of Palestinian land--and continually cranks out propaganda designed to demonize not only the Palestinians, but Arabs and Muslims in general....
.... As should be obvious to all who pay attention, the Bush administration, in regard to the Middle East, is a mirror reflection of the Likudites in Israel, who are fanatically opposed to the establishment of a Palestinian state and will "adopt immediate stringent measures in the event of such a declaration," as their political platform states. As well, the colonization of the West Bank and Gaza "are the realization of Zionist values" and the theft of Palestinian land "is a clear expression of the unassailable right of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel and constitutes an important asset in the defense of the vital interests of the State of Israel. The Likud will continue to strengthen and develop these communities [illegal settlements] and will prevent their uprooting."...

White or black, is not the issue. I can't believe this moron made it to presidential candidate. I mean really! People need to wake up an see what this man will do to this country if he is elected. Taxes will rise exponentially! Where do you think the money is going to come from to support socialized medicine? Yeah, great for all the illegals who can't get insurance legally but what about us Americans? Also, he can't even salute our flag or sing our anthem??? Shouldn't the President of the United States have a little loyalty to the country? I know he wants change and the only change I can see is all Americans being forced to wear turbins. Yuck! I'm not racist so no, his color is not an issue with me, his heart is!

It's not just the man but the belief systems that he and his party cling to. All the major Democratic candidates want some sort of socialized medicine. The more Socialism the better. Neither party is willing to cut off all services and employment to illegals. This is to me the true loyalty test. Obama did say the pledge of allegiance last week, so I don't know where you're coming from, suggesting he's less than a patriot. I believe on some issues he's misguided and places party loyalty above national loyalty. As for McCain, ditto. After any election I just choke when I hear the typical victory speech, "I will be a (blank) to all the people, not just..." Oh, sure, but that never happens, they remain representatives of the party activists and lobbyists and to the heII with the average guy.

If McCain wins I hope America goes to hell. I am sick and tired of all these mean spirited people who rather have an old senile grey haired republican (McShame) instead of giving hope a chance. These mean people have inherited a large degree of hatred. Personally, I am fed up. No wonder, we are hated around the world. Republicans do any damn thing they desire and get away with it. Rove, Bush and Cheney should be serving time in prison for war crimes. Instead, Bush has his ass over in China trying to give advice on religion and human rights. Only in America!

So you think the US is hated around the world. You must be born and lived in the US all your life (and never traveled anywhere but maybe Disney once in your life).

There isn't a country in the world that doesn't have a list of its citizens that have applied for VISAs to move and live in the US. I, along with my entire family, came to this country that you trash. I spent 21 years in the US military for the country you trash. My wife and her entire family emigrated to the US because they hated (Not the US) the former USSR and the miserable life they had there.
I work with a former Albanian that is proud to be in the country you trash.
In my 21 years in the military, I had ample opportunity to travel abroad. I've spent time in Germany, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and I can tell you, they do not trash the country YOU trash.
As a matter of fact, I remember meeting two Kuwaiti business men in Bahrain, and they explained how every Kuwaiti has a picture of the first Pres. Bush hanging proudly in their home.
Seems to me that you can show a bit more respect to the country you live in and which provides you every opportunity in life. In my view, you cannot get any better than the US. Even if we do not have everything figured out, we have the means to make our future anything we choose it to be.
I JUST CHOOSE NOT TO TRASH THE COUNTRY I LIVE IN, LOVE AND SPENT MY LIFE DEFENDING.

My first question is why we all care about who is in support of who? Are we not intelligent individuals capable of making our own decisions? All this energy spent fighting over party affiliation, patriotism and name calling is separating us further as a nation than ever before. How about we all stop this non-productive nonsense and unite to make this country, as great as, we all know it can be.

I always had a little respect for Condi Rice, but after hearing her opinion on Barack Hussein Obama and the safety of this country, I now have no respect for this puppet at all. Boy, do blacks show their true intentions when another black runs for office, even if he has less experience than Paris Hilton.

First, this story hasn't been presented by a credible news source. It's clearly been heavily edited to meet the requirements of the Obama campaign.

On Secretary Rice, I have nothing but respect for her. She's an amazing lady. I wish she was running for the White House. I know Barry wouldn't even consider a debate with her, she'd mop the floor with him. -

See, this is where we get into trouble. A lot of republicans complain that whatever they say against Obama, they're labeled as racists... then a poster comes on with a racist statement like this, and you wonder how many of those that are complaining make similar statements.
Reply
"Boy, do blacks show their true intentions when another black runs for office" -- this is racism. You are labeling all blacks as have the same (devious) intentions, and making a wild assumption that the only possible reason a black man could have support is 'solidarity'.
So to all the complainers. I agree, you aren't racist just for not supporting Obama, not at all. Chances are it has more to do with you being party loyalists than anything else. But there are certainly those around who are quite happy to play the race/fear card, and they are giving you a bad name. -

I think she understands, how little power the president really has. This is by design of our forefathers. Keep in mind all the president can do is approve or not approve a law, if the law is not written he cannot sign it. Consider: No Child Left Behind Act - this was not written by GB, but by Ted Kennedy, however everyone thinks it is Bush's law. The Iraq war was not started by GB, but by congress. Did Bush lie to get this past congress? Some say he did, but all had the same information that Bush had at the time. The fact is Sadam violated the UN peace agreement that ended the gulf war in 1990 and that and that alone is the reason we attacked. But for some reason we have a mind set that the President is King. He is not. So would we be safe if BO was president, yes, would we be safe if JM was president , I would have to again say yes. Now come the question who do I prefer? Who is more like me.

I think she was very professional on her comment, Deep down, she might actually feel he is going to win. I hope he does. We don't need another 4 years of bushsh*t...do we?. Give the guy a chance, he might surprise you in a good way...or bad. We have never had a PERFECT president, and never will. Our country is so screwed up right now it's nauseating...hmm who could we blame for this? I love this country to death, and if Obama can at least do better than the present administration, so be it. Don't be afraid of change, I mean really, could it get worse than what it is now..lol

My short answer is.. yes..it could get worse.
My biggest issue with the Obama hype is there is no substance to it...
Change for the sake of change gets you nowhere. And by all appearances Obama is not changing anything..he has moved closer to the middle and changed (oppppps) I used the word...postitions on too many issues.-

You are so right it could get worse .Put Mccain as president and it will get a lot worse. Mccain has no vision or good ideas, been in congress for 26 years and has nothing to show for it.

Reminds me of a joke I heard. After several days hiking through the jungle, the sergeant of an army platoon made the following announcement: "Men, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that today you get to CHANGE underwear. The bad news is, Jones, you change with Smith, Johnson, you change with Brown. . . ."

Change doesn't have to be Earth shattering abntv...I see Obama as a Pragmatist. He's interested in solving problems. He's willing to reach across the aisle to get consensus. Just the fact that a Democrat will say publicly that he would consider offshore drilling as part of a larger Energy Bill shows the kind of leader I believe he will be.

She said the same thing about BOTH - NOT just Obama. The spin is directed at your inability to reason - or common sense - and that youll think she would say NO it would not be under McCain. Poeple, these folks are using you lack of intelligence and political knowledge - NOT your fault - they dont teach us ! Use common sense, reason out what people say and then hold them accoutable for it. Its caled the SPIN for a reason. The comment wasnt meant to be race based - AS they want you to assume as you can see form some comments above - she didnt single out Obama as the better person - as they want youto think. These people LOVE confrontation, Racism, Terror, Conflict and every other negative in this world. Just think - without it, they're out of work ! IF you call it that !

You want talk about worse, think back to when Kennedy and Johnson were presidents. Anybody remember the Military Draft and the Vietnam war. It was bad, kids were pulled right out of school handed a gun and sent to fight. I am not saying the the Vietnam war was a complete loss, because I believe it was a major reason the USSR went bankrupt, but the warriors were not all volunteers as it is today. So can it get worse, you bet it can.
Today is the "good old days".
PROTO - You cant explain that to these folks. They are all about negative and without it, they have nothing to say. Simply a reflection of their lives. They're not happy and thus, wish unhappiness on others. It doesnt matter who gets into office, they;re lives will stay the same. Maybe another dollar or two here and there through programs designed to support those that refuse to work or those that blame their bad luck on others and the govt. There are NO mirrors in these homes. But yet, you'd think by their comments they are all Harvard Grads !! Two choices - Either run your self for office or move. If you dont like the way you percieve the gift God has given you and theopportunities and freedoms you have here in the US, then move. Stop bitc**&^ and contribute. Stop pounding your President and Pound your Senators and Congressmen ! IF you even know who they are today. Thats YOUR link to govt, NOT the President -

MMRHE - I want you to look at the link here. Obama voted Party Lines 97% of the time. He MISSED 46% of the Votes this years on bills. There are very ffew - Under 10 - other Senators that had a HIGHER avg on Party Votes and one was Hilery. Now, you say he reaches out to solve issues? How do you come to that cnclusion ? The facts/numbers say exactly the opposite. YOu have to look at the facts, NOT hearsay and TV. Very easy to do. NONE PARTISAN GOVT websites with REAL, Factual information. LOOK IT UP FOLKS.

Your point is well taken but as I noted in my post, just by indicating he would consider offshore drilling is in and of itself an example of his willingness to work with those of the Republican persuasion.
Or how about his vote against the Iraq Adventure? It's not always the numbers but the importance of the issues that matter is it not?

The highest number of voting party percentage for the Republicnas is 92%.. there are 32 DEMOCRATS AHEAD OF HIM AND 1 INDEPENDENT ! THERE IS ONLY 100 SENATORS ! Look at the math, look at the issues and look at what a Majority of Americans want. Common Sense. If your voting in a 4,5,6,7 term Senator or Congressman - YOUR PART OF THE PROBLEM FOLKS. And you want CHANGE ? DUH ! Change comes from the House and The Senate NOT the White House.
