But I must tell you ... and I believe I speak for ALL Christian Conservatives here ... Christian Conservatives DON'T LIKE the Constitution.
In fact, Christian Conservatives don't much like this whole notion of a Secularist Government.
That is why Christian Conservatives voted for GeeDub by like 94%.
That's why Christian Conservatives don't raise a peep when the GW administration 'outs' an undercover CIA agent.
NORMAL citizens would be outraged at this. After all, it IS a treasonable offense.
But Christian Conservatives see everything as 'US' vs 'THEM'. And I can tell you that the 'THEM' in this case is Liberals.
Christian Conservatives support George W. Bush in his 'Signing Statements' ... which he has attached to virtually every piece of legislation.
These Signing Statements are unlike anything ever done in American History. They are designed for the sole purpose of making George W. Bush unaccountable to the restraints, constraints, and punishments contained within those laws.
Look at if from the Christian Conservative perspective.
As Fundamentalists, the belief is Anti-Science (Creationism) and Anti-Government (government is too secularist and therefore the work of agents of evil).
This truly is how Christian Conservatives think.
That is why my fellow Christian Conservatives support George W. Bush so mightily. He has done more than any previous president in perverting that which Fundamentalists hate with such passion .... the Federal Government.
YOU LIBERALS, may see Government as a collective expression of a desire to live a cohesive, just way of life.
But to Christian Conservatives ... such a life can only be expressed by Biblical Law ... specifically .... the OLD Testament ... which contain some of the Christian Conservative's most popular legal traditions ... such as ... 'An Eye for and Eye'.
Whereas ... the whole Jesus thing .... Christian Conservatives CAN'T STAND that whole section of the Bible ... to Christian Conservatives .... Jesus was a flaming Socialist.

I signed that petition long ago. Kucinich was my first vote for president. Kucinich and Wexler have the biggest, brassiest balls out there, and I salute them and stand with them in defending our country from the outlaws currently inhabiting the White House.

While, in this particular instance, I did use the phrase, "As Christian Fundamentalists ...." I was not referring to myself.

I was explaining the frame of reference ... the view of the situation from the perspective of the Christian Fundamentalist - of which I am intimately aware.
When I DO refer to myself, it is typically to include me in the Christian Conservative category.
I do not espouse the Christian Fundamentalist Political Philosophy ... nor do I vote for Christian Fundamentalists .... say George W. Bush .... this would only lead to a disaster for our nation.
