The Ukraine is no exception as pole vaulting legend Sergey Bubka represented them in that event. He was even worthy of mention by American commentators who spotlighted NBA stars and American Gold Medalists.

Sergey Bubka is an amazing pole vaulter and deserves to be honored in this occasion. The Parade of Nations was certainly a high light of the opening ceremonies.
