The arch is along Devils Garden Trail, one of the most popular in the park. For years, the arch has been a favorite stopping point for photographers.

    This is one of two stories regarding a natural disaster in which the national landscape has forever been changed. The fact that this arch collapsed was inevitable. At some point in geological time, the structure would have collapsed. Fortunately, no humans were injured.
