Russian peace keepers? Comrade Natureboy you can't be considered a peace keeper if you invade a nation like Russia did. As for being overextended, we're not. We have over 1million in uniform right now. Could we use more always, but Congress would have to approve this in the budget. Beside raising the minimum wage and giving themselves a pay increase, congress hasn't done much this year.

If Russia wants to dance, it's a war they're not going to win. In a nuclear war, no one wins. They must realize that. Then again Putin is on an ego trip similar to Hitler or Tojo's. He just warned Poland that they will comply to his will or else. Poland has a real army and air force and there are US troops there too, not just trainers. This might be interesting. I feel sorry for the civilians.-

BB I don't think you know what was there before Georgia attacked Ossetia... Russian armed forces were there as peace keepers in Ossetia to protect people of Russian origins. That was no invasion. Saakashvili planned the attack on Ossetia and Abkhasia long time back read the article in this link

You are calling Puttin, Hitler .. well we Americans have invaded two countries and we are spreading around Russia like moths.. Do you think they are going to sit idle. The real Hitler of this era is in the White House now. And there is someone preparing to replace him, McCain. If you want to stop Hitler or Nazism or that kinda ideology, start the cleaning at home.
