Toyota's gotta unload their inventory somewhere. They've already idled the San Antonio plant. No one has been laid off, but a couple hundred temp jobs were eliminated.

Well, there are countries where the gas is cheap -- like Venezuela -- and they could sell the trucks and SUVs there. Meanwhile, converting the Mississippi plant to building Priuses is a smart move; last I heard, they have a one-year waiting list for these hybrids.
