Posted By slowneutrino 3 months, 2 weeks ago in HumorI leaned back in my ancient office chair, hoping it wouldn't break, and listened to an associate's daughter talking to her daddy on the other side of the cubicle partition. "Do you just sit here all day? Can you play computer games? Do your friends come over to play?" The dad answered: "Well I sit here most of the time, working on my computer and talking to people on the phone. Company policy doesn't allow us to install or play games on the computer. Sometimes people come over, but just to talk. It annoys my neighbors so we have to schedule a conference room to have long talks."

I have been in various cubicle jobs for over 15 years. Yes, this sounds familiar, and I believe I heard exactly the same conversation over the cubicle wall myself! God, I wish there was something else for me to do.
