    Anyone shocked by this? Anyone? Really, did anyone expect the presidents personal protector not to sheild any of his lackies in this mess?

    What a disgusting display of his playing at "dictator."

    I heard about this on the news today.

    Not Mainstream Media ...

    Mainstream Media has pretty much ignored this story .... even though it is a pretty explicit perversion of our society.

    In fact, of all the perversions that Neo-Conservatism has wrought on our nation and our Constitution ... this perversion of the Judiciary is the most egregious and shocking.

    There is only one thing about this whole episode that is even more shocking ... the fact that the Right Wing Media has gotten away with giving this issue so little exposure.

    Quite simply, it's insult being added to injury.

    And the American people are the ones being harmed.

      FTA;
      "Where there is enough evidence to charge someone with a crime, we vigorously prosecute,” he said. “But not every wrong, or even every violation of the law, is a crime.”
      hummmm......................????????????
      true but;
      Interesting use of words to create a loop-hole or verbal escape clause for this situation.
      IMHO....It is important that our system of government 'hires' or appoints for a balance of political and judicial opinion and not to create an environment for a 'majority of favorable opinion' to the Govt. and it's heavly partisian political views.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elliot_Richardson

      Mukasey is no Elliot Richardson. Too bad the man cares more about being AG for another 5 months than being a true American hero for all time.
