    In many spiritually mature people. the physical attraction augments the values of compassion, understanding, friendship, trust, and true love. Though I must admit, when I was young and before meeting my wife, I had made choices that were purely based on physical attraction; the lack of deeper qualities needed for a lasting relationship eventually undermined the lust. On the other hand, many of us initiate relationships on the basis of some physical attraction, which eventually gives way to the spiritual values that foster loving and lasting relationships.
