Posted By berkeley 1 year, 2 months ago in NewsRon Suskind, a noted and accomplished journalist, has written a new book, “The Way of the World: A Story of Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism,” in which he claims that the “White House had concocted a fake letter from Habbush [Tahir Jalil Habbush, the director of the Mukhabarat], to Saddam [Hussein], backdated to July 1, 2001.” This is an extraordinary charge. Suskind outlines a scenario which dates to the summer and fall of 2003, troubled times for the Bush administration as its case for invading Iraq was unraveling. I cannot independently confirm Suskind’s findings, but I, too, heard a similar story, from a source I trust implicitly.

this article recounts an experience scott ritter had some years ago, that confirms the charge in suskind's book.

for pelosi and the rest of congress to continue to refuse to consider impeachment HEARINGS leaves them open to criminal charges. pretending they "didn't know" will not be an option. -

Misleading the nation to go to war for the purpose of profit is and should be a crime considered as heinous as murder and treason. On a scale of human atrocities it must rate a ten.What is the difference beteen Saddam Hussein, GWB, and **** Cheney, and Osama bin Laden? Have they not all been responsible for killing thousands of innocent people?

Our complicit Congress should be impeached as well and charged
for collusion, for ignoring the civil rights of Americans and Iraqis, and their refusal to protect the constitution that they swore to defend from foreign and domestic enemies.-
