Here is an interesting list of confirmed speakers for the Wednesday night session of the Democratic convention, Joe Biden, Evan Bayh, and Bill Richardson. It is a pretty safe bet that these are the final three on Barack Obama's VP search list, and one of them will be his running mate.

Would have liked to see Richardson get the top billing, but both he and Biden would make fine representatives of this country in any capacity.

I don't think anyone who openly proclaims himself as a zionist (Joe Biden) deserves any position in American politics. We have enough israel-firsters causing us problems and do NOT need politicians who support the ethnic cleansing of over 7 million christians and moslems in Palestine (the world's largest refugee problem).

      The DLC and Israel

      Zionist Democrats

... ..... These neoconservative Democrats include: Governor Tom Vilsack, Senator Evan Bayh, Senator Joe Biden...

An old Zionist dream: the partition of Iraq

Finally the Imperial Senate calls for Iraq's partition.

US lawmakers voted Wednesday to split Iraq into a loose federation of sectarian-based regions and urged President George W Bush to press Iraqi leaders to agree. [dpa]

The proposal came from Senator Joseph Biden, the smart-ass who heads the chamber's foreign relations committee...

When you read the article it is clear that the list has not been cut down to the three mentioned above.

Although experienced, Biden is overly aggressive and petty and verbally attacks ordinary citizens--he even did so during the debates. Bayh is so socially conservative, that, together with Obama's move to the right, he makes McCain look more attractive (depending on who he picks). Richardson has good experience and matches my own values best, and could be an advantage with hispanic and American Indian voters. Sebelius is a little to the right, and lacks experience, but I'm always reminded of Quayle, who was pulled out of a hat--and she seems lightyears ahead of him in smarts and ability. I agree with mackiemesser that Clinton would be the best #2, especially since she captured the popular vote in the primary, but Richardson or Sebelius wouldn't be dealbreakers.
