Consider what happened to those in that prison and what happened to McCain in particular.

I had a friend that was in the Bataan Death March. When the company took Chinese or Japanese visitors around they would notify his boss and they would let him leave for a while with pay. He never talked about what happened but he would be incensed at just seeing them.

Why don't you poll the prisoners that were held there with McCain and see what they think. Gook might be one of the nicer words.
