I am a true environmentalist and I am 100% for taking care of the only planet we have and I support people who are doing their part. Put garbage where it belongs, but products that are bio-degradable, recycle, and "leave no evidence" in your path.

It's sad that environmentalism has been hijacked by extremists that are more bent on controlling the world's access to energy by using junk science and emotional rhetoric. COMMON SENSE and logic need to be what guides us, NOT alarmism.

  what about the pollution from cars?
  
  do you have a catalytic converter on your car? why?
  
  we need to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, in order to save the planet (our only one) from an early demise.
  
  why do you cons pretend that only the only way to pollute is by tossing gum wrappers?
  
  al gore deserved to win the nobel peace prize, imo.

    --- Do you have evidence that reducing CO2 ppm from 365 to 364 will "save th planet"? I can't find any anywhere, while this WILL bankrupt the U.S.

    --- That's laughable. I will be in a third-world country 9 months out of this year. Gum wrappers are the least of their problems
