The Obama Muslim Myth »
Posted By jovial 10 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsDespite numerous attempts at clarification from Barack Obama's campaign, media outlets continue to perpetuate myths about the Democratic candidate being a Muslim. Just recently, Jerome Corsi, author of "The Obama Nation," alleged that the Illinois senator received Islamic instruction as a child. Meanwhile, a new national study by the Pew Research Center shows that 12 percent of the country still believes Obama is a Muslim. For more information, take a look at the American News Project video below.

The ignorance of some people in America has been reinforced by the talking heads on the media. It really has no basis in reality. It's just a hateful and malicious attack on the young senator from Illinois.

International Criminal Tribunal: The US lied about Yugoslavia
The former chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Yugoslavia in The Hague, Carla Del Ponte, this year published her memoir The Hunt: Me and War Criminals. There was no genocide in Kosovo. The "holocaust" was a lie. The Nato attack was fraudulent.

Challenging the Mainstream Media on the Russia-Georgia War
This narrative has been effectively challenged or at least contextualized in columns by Charles King in the Christian Science Monitor, Brendan O’Neill on Spiked, and Justin Raimondo on Antiwar.com, among others. Here I’d like to list some of their main points, along with some historical background

I'm a Christian, White American. However, if my name were something like (Chin Lee), people may get the impression that I was Chinese. It's all in his name. (Barrack Husane Obama). Sounds much like a mix between Osama and Saddam! So, I can understand why people may think he's a Muslim. We all know he is not, but his name gives the impression that he is Muslim. Heck, even Fox News is making it very clear he is not a Muslim. But some people just don't want to hear the truth. Seems many people only beleive what they want to beleive. For those people, there is no changing thier minds. I do find it interesting that most media refuses to use his middle name.

The problem is that there was a time that he was raised as a Muslim. Before his fathar left him and went to Harvard he was raised a Muslim. His mother married a man and went to live in Indonesia and he was raised as a Muslim during that time. His brother Malik Obama has a picture of him wearing traditional Muslim garb with him and another man when they met in 1985.
Reply
This does not mean that he is now a Muslim but it makes him a Muslim apostate. Under Sharia law an apostate is to be killed and the government is not allowed to protect them.

All joking aside, comparing belief in angels or aliens with the thoroughly debunked Saddam 9/11 idea is a bit of a fraud. -

I think its more delusional to believe there are not aliens. Think about it. In our solar system alone there are three bodies that we believe life may have at once or still does live on. Earth of course, Mars and Titan. That 2 of 8 planets (now that Pluto isn't a planet, very sad :( ) in our system alone. Multiply that by the trillions upon trillions of stars and their systems in the universe and think about how slim the chances are that intelligent life forms don't exist.

I'm one of them. You see, according to Saddam himself, he "warned the US" about the 9/11 attack. To do so Saddam had to KNOW IN ADVANCE about the Al Qaeda plans.
Somehow I do not think that he (Saddam) could KNOW IN ADVANCE about the Al Qaeda plans while having NOTHING TO DO with it at the same time.

He prayed as a Muslim.
He still says that the Muslim call to prayer is the prettiest sound he ever heard.

That is a well known fact.
He is not a Muslim now.

Obama fan club members....you might want to do a search on "New World order" a term Obama used in a speech a few weeks ago (Obama is Pro new world order)then compare them to the Book of Revelations in the Bible ...through my research on this I found the Anti christ would be a man from the east with dark skin whom rules the world for 40 some months and that is the beginning of the end. Im not a bigot , nor am I ignorant, the Bible and Gods word is the truth ..read it ,decipher it ,and get ready for it .... Obama claims to be christian because it gets him more votes. How many Americans would vote for a Muslim? The way I see it Obama is not American, Muslim or Christian . Im not sure what he is . If he was an American he would put his hand on his heart during the Pledge of Allegence, Muslims cannot just decide to change their religion with out a death sentence and Christians read their Bibles and try to live their lives to the potential God gave them.

It makes a difference that he has a Muslim father and was raised for a while as a Muslim. That would make him a Muslim apostate. Under Sharia law they are to be killed. Government officials are not allowed to protect them. If president he would have a major problem visiting a country controlled by Sharia law. His only defense would be the guards he brought with him. Also it does not matter what we believe about this but what the Muslims believe about it if he goes there.

How many people still think the word liberal is somehow connected to being communistic. When in reality conservative is more true in a communistic country. The conservatives at the top want keep all the riches for themselves and their ruling party.
There is nothing liberal about communism, there is a very conservative point to communism though. The conservatives seek to destroy liberty for all but the elite.
That is why they deal in lies and innuendo.-

Along with answering many questions concerning States Rights, Socioeconomic and other issues, the Emancipation was signed into law by Lincoln, a Republican. The GOP was not and is not the sanctuary of the KKK, that would be the DNC. Here's a little article that you might find interesting:

Almost as embarrassing as our corporate media concentrating on Obama's father (who abandoned the family when Obama was 2 years old) rather than telling us about the life of his rather admirable white, middle-class, American mother.

That alone is enough to tell one about how "liberal" our corporate media are. -

I have members of my family, sigh..... that are life long FDR Dems that don't believe me when I've tried telling them he's not a Muslim. It kills me that me the life member of the GOP has to explain that to the other side. The only thing I can figure is the Obama side didn't address this fast enough because like most of my friends, we don't care about your religion. There are many other requirements that concern me, that he simply doesn't have. But again, the Muslim wouldn't bother me. What really does was his former church. He left it now because of the racist comments of some of their leaders. What still concerns me is that he didn't seem to think what was said was racist. When this first came up, I purchased 2 CD's from a list of several sermons listed. I found them rather offensive. If they're not, why aren't they still available?

Obama's father is mostly Arab and a little Black. His father is a Muslim. His mother is white. The first few years of school he went to a Muslim school. That makes him in the eyes of Islam a Muslim apostate. It is legal to kill Muslim apostates under Sharia law.

Did you explain these things to that working man.
In countries where Sharia law is in place the government officials are not allowed to protect a Muslim apostate. So if he is elected and goes to Iran what will happen? -

I think one of the big problems we face these days is that we can no longer trust what the media is telling us. Seems media outlets like NBC, CNN, MSNBC etc. have lately made up and reported crazy lies for political reasons. So, who believes anything the media spews anymore? How do we know what they tell us is actually fact or fiction? We don't know, and that's a very BIG problem for our entire country!

I met an American in Buenos Aires in February who was convinced that Barrack was a Muslim and that WMD had been discovered in Iraq under 15 feet of sand. When, as a doubting brit, I asked for references to support his statements, came there none. It seemed to him that to repeat someone elses statement gave it validity. It’s silly to try and call Obama a ‘Muslim’. He may have been sent to Muslim school as a child, but you know what, I was made to go to vacation bible school as a child. And just like me, Obama had no choice but go where his parents told him to.
Reply
Even if Obama was/is a Muslim, which is highly unlikely; it shouldn’t matter anymore than him belonging to a Christian church as an adult IMO.
If you want to argue his positions or his shortsightedness of those he has associated with during his life, which is one thing.
Trying to say he’s not ‘worthy’ of being president because he may have or is a member of ANY religion of his choosing in a nation that purports to be for religious freedom is absolutely the wrong way to try and win an election.
On a side note: He was born to a US citizen (his mother), that makes him a US citizen from what I heard.
Now, let’s take those two things off the table and debate the other things, time is wasting and time is running short, on both sides.-

The problem is not how we look at it but how Islam looks at it. His father being a Muslim and going to a Muslim school makes him a Muslim. Turning his back on Islam and becoming a Christian makes him a Muslim apostate. Under Sharia law they are to be killed. Muslim Governments are forbidden to protect Muslim apostates. This is part of Islam. Question the faith and run for your life. A lot of them have been killed or almost killed. There are many stories out there on the internet. Google "Muslim apostate".

So my question is this - why does he refer to himself as an African-American? That term relates to people who were actually born in Africa and came to America.
Why doesn't he just refer to himself as an American?
As far as having a dislike to a specific religion in the White House - I have no objection to any, because none of the other faiths, to the best of my knowledge, have any hatred towards mankind. Why do I not want a Muslim in office - for that specific reason - The Muslim faith spews hatred toward any who does not believe as they do.
We don't need any more hatred in this world - let alone in the United States - which puts it's young on the front lines to protect this Nation, and its rights and its freedoms.

How can you say G.W. was a good president? He is a self serving ass ! When we went to Iraq he made claims of W of M d that were never found! He gave the leader of that county to the people who hated him to assassinate him in a public spectacle, he continues to watch other peoples kids die in a war that was a lie. The french told us it was a war for oil but the price didn't go down in America, it went up cause George and penis are making milions of dollars from it (and him and Penis Cheney continue to make millions)! America has no jobs, foreign countries own the companies that are here because American companies couldn't survive the oil prices when foreign co.'s can produce on pennies to the dollar, Europeans and especially middle-easterns(I went Niagara Falls with my kids and felt like a minority to the Asians) are buying vacation houses here because our countries housing market is destroyed, the banks are almost completely defunct, and England goes out of its way to make sure kids from royalty don't end up in Iraq! I have to ask , do you have any kids in Iraq? Thats what I thought, neither does G.W. or penis Cheney! G.W. should be impeached and charged with the murder of Saddam and everyone who died in this war that was a lie to the world! The U.S. now has no respect from other countries that see the lies that the greedy, self-righteous, religious freaks have told! G.W. or Obama what a choice!!! I refuse to exercise my vote for either! Popular vote doesn't mean anything anyways, G.W. didn't have popular vote, he got in office by electoral vote. That means the American gov. will put whoever they want in office, regardless of who the people vote for! This presidential farse will have the lowest voting count in history!! I'll probably have C.I.A. guys taking me to prison in Gauntanamoe Bay tommorrow for speaking my mind. Bring all you got, you'll need it! I can laways use my pen!!

If you watched the Presidential Profiles on Fox last night, you now know how this rumor/misunderstanding started. When BHO was attending school overseas, his religion was listed as Muslim (the document was shown). But, as the show explained, this was because of the school's practice of listing the father's religion being the same as the child. BHO was raised by his Christian mother and also attended a Christian school.

Didnt Obama say in his book that he would go the way of muslim if it come to it. POINT IS he is muslim. In a muslim country this would not matter. Although we as Americans do not act christian as a whole; the finding of this country was based on JESUS CHRIST. If we look at our history the more Jesus and christian principles are taken out the worst shape this country gets in. Also what business does a muslim have running a christian country.Did Andrew Jackson run for president in Mexico.Bush has not let America down. We have let him down. Twin towers got attacked first. Then we went to war. Same senario as WWII Just not the same Patriotic country.

The finding of this country was predominantly based on three things-
Reply
1. The love of money
2. The love of money
3. Liberal ideals, such as freedom of speech, religion and democracy.
You are taking Obama's quote out of context. He essentially stated that if the political winds would turn to an extreme anti-Muslim attitude then he would stand up for them. He did not say go the way of the Muslim... he said stand with them, as in fight with them for their civil rights.
The President DOES NOT run the country. He/she has EXTREMELY limited powers and can really only accomplish what Congress lets him... his only real power, except during a time of war, is the veto. During war time he can basically tell the army to do what he wants, assuming it is in accordance with Congress' declaration of war. Also, we are a country mainly of Christians. Not a Christian country... read the bloody Constitution and it will be CLEAR to you that no religious test can exist for the office of President!
Andrew Jackson didn't run for President of Mexico, but Polk took about 1/3 of it not so long after.

Why is OBama being muslim a problem? Why the big deal? Why is his religion an issue?
Reply
Explanations: Radical Muslim's Jihad want to destroy America anyway they can and if they can from the inside out all the better. Here is a man that comes out of the blue, with an extreme radical muslim background and ties to known terrorists claiming to be Christian coming from an extreme radical Christian church more like a radical cult in itself. The man is asked how could he and his wife go to this extreme radical Christian church for over 20 years and expose their children to the hate spewed from Wright's mouth and Obama answered "He never heard it!" So Radical muslim, radical Christain, both religions spew hate that show the man's character and background. His mother is White and yet he professes to be black and hate whites, but you people think all this is okay? You think hatred by his wife for this country is okay? You don't think he shares the same view as her? Then you people claim the President doesn't have the power to do this or that....Gee I think a law was passed giving the President a right to call a thing called Marshall Law, The Land of the Free will be made into the land of Jihad....from the inside out!!!!! I am not saying these things because I'm for McCain, I'm not saying these things because I'm racist, I'm not saying these things because I hate muslims (I know many fine, nice Muslim's) They believe OBama is a muslim, because once you are taught to be one, you never revert! This man is one scarey person to be running for Pres.! He scares the hell outta me. I read and listen to all sides and everything that's going on in this election. The more I hear the more frightened I get. Some say he's the antichrist. Maybe he's as close to there being an antichrist that we can get! It sure seems that way to me.
He puts down his own country in Germany to cheers at rock concerts. Europe who has more radical muslims want Obama as the US Pres. why would they care? They can't vote here. Does he think he's running for King of the world? Don't you people listen and see what audacity going to Iraq and preaching to the armed forces, not like he a candidate, but as if he's already won! Please people wake up. Is this mass hypnosis? Are you people deranged? Change is not what you hope it to be! Change is going to destroy us and out freedom. His change is not going to be one we want! Be wary of this man!-

Hmmm... so, he's a radical Muslim but he joins the WORST church to join for political purposes, in just about the entire world, to cover up that he's a radical Muslim? I don't think so. Not buyin' it.

He never said he hated this country while in Germany.
Europe cares QUITE deeply about what happens in the United States. Europe actually loves the United States, just not Bush or much of its policy of late. For exhibit A... look at how many Germans were waving American flags while Obama spoke (yes, he had a show before this... but c'mon... how many people bring the flags of another country to a rock concert of two decent, not great, acts?). Exhibit B... go meet some Europeans, for Christ's sake.
