Have many of those people have you heard shed a tear for the Falun Gong ...probably enslaved within walking distance of the Olympic Stadium?
Our Leaders, almost to the individual, are corrupt. They are becoming servants to the people who are paying the bills on their extravagant lifestyles instead of the people who empowered them.
Think about all the loans to the US from the Chinese Government. There are A LOT of bad War and political loans that are gonna come due soon.
What bugs me is that the Cash acquired from these loans was wasted in the most frivolous and destructive of enterprises....War.
If anyone thinks politicians will slay a goose that lays Golden Eggs they have a very incomplete awareness of human nature.
There are people who quite unknowingly have become the very thing they claim to hate...attempting to silence voices in fear of Truth being revealed.
They believe they have a right to FORCE another to THEIR way of thinking.
And if they can't force you? They think they have the right to kill you.
I think the popular term is Antisocial personality disorder.(comment_max_expanded_depth : 55) (comment depth : 7) (recursion depth : 3) (max_comment_reply_depth : 40) (comment_max_render_depth : 55)Reply

> maybe we need to address why people have a problem with muslims.
Maybe. Most people on this planet have a problem with Muslims because thousands of Muslim extremists murdered tens of thousands innocent men, women and children in almost every country in the world... and becasue these thousands of Muslim extremists are supported by tens or even hundreds of millions of other Muslims.
How do you suggest to "address" this problem ? Please consider that blaming others (Jews, Christians, "Neocons", etc.) for Islamist violence will not work.(comment_max_expanded_depth : 55) (comment depth : 7) (recursion depth : 3) (max_comment_reply_depth : 40) (comment_max_render_depth : 55)Reply

What a wonderfully short sighted opinion.... The Muslims, the Jews... the Christians... the Neocons... all have a group of illhearted people that have done things that keep the viscious circle alive. The problem is if you decide to react in the same fashion what good will come of it? You only become like the worst of those groups.
There are Millions of great Muslims, Jews, and Christians... people only like to look at the wrong in the world.... leading that group is the Neocons!!(comment_max_expanded_depth : 55) (comment depth : 8) (recursion depth : 4) (max_comment_reply_depth : 40) (comment_max_render_depth : 55)Reply

Does your family determine what is in faith you follow? Or does the individual? Well if one is a sheep he or she will follow... but with a little intelligence one will decide on his/her own. I was raised Christian...My whole family is Christian..... but not any more...Inshallah, I hope he becomes our next President:)
that video above... O'My... It makes me ashamed of our national education standards! One foreign word that folks don't know... has such a negative impact and no one understands its true meaning... or that to run for president you have to be born here... WOW... really that lady didn't know that? They picked some of the least brightest to speak about Ombma...... Media loves to swing their story so they will dig anywhere I guess.(comment_max_expanded_depth : 55) (comment depth : 6) (recursion depth : 2) (max_comment_reply_depth : 40) (comment_max_render_depth : 55)Reply

Complete LIE. INCORRECT. Sir. Barack Obama has never EVER been a Muslim, and he did NOT attend a Muslim school, nor was he brought up with Muslim beliefs. he was raised by his white mother and grandparents.
You're making yourself sound VERY ignorant.
I can't say I love Obama to death, but NOTHING makes me more ANGRY than to see people spread LIES.

Well, quit doing it then and do some research! If you are born to a Muslim parent you are automatically Muslim, unless you denounce that religion and if you do denounce the religion you are put on a hit list. Barrack hasn't denounced that religion and he belongs to a church that BELIEVES that you can be BOTH Muslim and Christian and MANY in Rev Wright's church profess to be BOTH! Does this mean that Obama Hasn't truly changed no, but considering the current situation a wise man would wonder about things LIKE Obongo obama, Baracks half brother who is a LAU terrorist! and according to Barracks own biography remained muslim because Obango viewed Christianity as weak due to the Christian belief in Forgivness. Barrack said he is proud of his brother in the that same book and Barrack associates with other terrorists. THERE simply is TOOOOOO many connections to even consider him for presidency, In the Quaran one is allowed to lie to another if they are not of the book Kquadaffy sp? has called Obama - "Our Muslim brother"

Yes, Obama attended an Indonesian public school (not a madrassa) for two years. He also attended a Catholic school for two years. Doesn't that make him Catholic? I'm sure they 'required Catholic training'.
"So why not believe his own words?" I DO believe his own words:
In an interview published in Christianity Today magazine in January, 2008, Obama said regarding his beliefs "I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian. I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that that faith gives me a path to be cleansed of sin and have eternal life. But most importantly, I believe in the example that Jesus set by feeding the hungry and healing the sick and always prioritizing the least of these over the powerful."

Obama's reasoning for not wearing the pin was because it was a hollow way of expressing patriotism. I have never wore a flag pin in my life and I never intend too; however, I am not an evil terrorist sympathizer or a Muslim..
Most Muslims I've met have assimilated very well into US society... like all ethnic groups that come to the United States eventually do. They'd not be offended by an American flag pin.(comment_max_expanded_depth : 55) (comment depth : 6) (recursion depth : 4) (max_comment_reply_depth : 40) (comment_max_render_depth : 55)Reply

So you're a left-wing liberal whack job too? JUST KIDDING... But as a person who fought for this country along with several million others, I am concerned when someone who could become Command-in-Chief refuses to wear a small flag pin because he might offend the Berkley crowd or claiming it would be a hallow gesture. I've heard him recite the pledge when pushed but it was clearly a political move, not the move of a patriot.
When John McCain recites the Pledge, you know he understands the meaning, to him they're not simply 31 words forming a sentence. It is a pledge or promise to the nation he's loved his whole life. He's proven it by his life's work in service to the American people. I am not a fan of McCain, but I know his love of country is far greater then most.(comment_max_expanded_depth : 55) (comment depth : 7) (recursion depth : 5) (max_comment_reply_depth : 40) (comment_max_render_depth : 55)Reply

What I find really scary is that you assess patriotism based upon flag pins.
You do such a disservice to our nation, to our culture.
When you comment, I recognize how valuable it is that our military answers to Civilians.
I'd like to ask you how it is you ... 'know' ... McCain has a love of this country far greater than most??
I'm sure Carol McCain thought her husbands love for HER was far greater than most ... and he chose to walk away from her.
LOL!!!
You really are some piece of work.
I Thank God we have Civilian Control of the Military. Can we all imagine an army of 'political thinkers' such as yourself? Our nation would disappear faster than a copy of the Constitution left on a Key West beach in front of an oncoming Hurricane.(comment_max_expanded_depth : 55) (comment depth : 8) (recursion depth : 6) (max_comment_reply_depth : 40) (comment_max_render_depth : 55)Reply

lmao. John McCain does not understand the pledge or any promise to his country.
Look at how he has attacked vets!
McCain:
voted against armor
voted against troop funding
voted against VA funding five times
voted against equal time with family to combat
was against the New GI bill
and so forth
McCain is a traitor to all vets
Face it, McCain would be a horrible CinC who would continue the disgraceful treatment of our military as fodder that the Bush admin started.
Actions speak louder than words, and votes speak louder than some stupid made-in-China flag pin.
Oh, why didn't McCain wear his flag pin the other day? Oh, why hasn't Bush worn his for almost all of his presidency? Anti-american or do you only apply your obtuse standards to Dems? Perhaps you would do well to stop obsessing over trivial things and take a long, hard look at the truly important issues. There is no way in he(double 11) anyone with common sense would prefer more GWB BS over someone who is young, energetic, idealist, hopeful, willing to make changes to benefit the majority instead of the selfish, petty minority of Americans, learns quickly from past mistakes and doesn't repeat them over and over and over, knows the art of negotiation, and is genuinely concerned that this nation, under God, has the best leadership possible, not just the status quo. Obama, though not perfect, is the best thing to hit the political scene in 8 long years of famine! And I do believe his extraordinary abilities coupled with his humbleness and willingness to weigh all sides of an issue will make him an even greater leader as time progresses.

There was an amusing video that came out after the right first began pushing the "he won't wear a flag pin" argument. I showed numerous photos of Obama wearing a flag pin and of McCain not wearing a flag pin. It just depends on the time, day and picture.
"But your flag decal won't get you into heaven anymore, they're already overcrowded by your dirty little war, now Jesus don't like killing, no matter what the reason for, and your flag decal won't get you into heaven anymore.

He chose war with Iraq instead of war with the country that attacked! That's what cowards and bullies do, pick on somebody they think is weaker because they're afraid the real offender might just kick their butt! And what a surprise, the Iraqi's have been kicking it pretty good, too....and they want us the heck out of their country!

Jesus don't support hateful liars, it was Saudi Arabia that was behind 9/11/01, Obama never claimed to be Muslim, (Check Snopes.com) and only those who are anti-American use lies, smears, and spin to attempt to give their 'candidate' some sort of credibility...don't bother attempting the "you did it first' that set of lies done got old...

That has got to be one of the most ignorant analogies i have ever read. Naturally, from birth, your family are the first people to have influence on you, the first stimulas on your brain. Hence, there is a good chance that fifty percent of his family affected fifty percent of his thoughts and beliefs, quite possibly planting the seed for life-long muslim values, a religion that is openly anti-amercan, at least to some extent. Your family cannot naturally influence your gender.
