Dionys......months ago the idea of a timetable wasn't realistic. There was still too much to be done. If we had withdrawn when Obama first proposed it the Iraqi government wouldn't have been able to support itself. Shouting "Withdraw" from the start of the war all the way until we start withdrawing troops in no way means he was right the entire time.

  Things have so vastly improved in a few months? Please. Spin it however you want, but perhaps you should ask soldiers on the ground.

    Well I would assume things have improved considering the Iraqi government wants a timetable so desperately. Would be kinda weird if they wanted to collapse don't you think?

  If we had "withdrawn" when Obama first proposed it we never would have gone in. And maybe Osama Bin Ladin would be dead or in custody.
