Definition of a flake, taken from Webster's...

"a crazy or eccentric person"

Obama certainly doesn't fit that description at all, now does he? He's not at all crazy in the sense as being mentally deranged, possibly with aggressive or violent overtones. Even crazy like a fox, that doesn't ring true either...

Eccentric implies unconventional...Ok...even if Obama is unconventional, many people are...many of them highly intelligent and creative. His opponent is certainly eccentric, and intelligent...and he appears more eccentric because of his memory lapses and inability to answer simple questions put to him...but that's only because of his age, I think, nothing more...

All in all, another weak attempt by a writer to scare people, not actually inform them...

    You do know that Obama is the darker-skinned one, right? I'm just making sure you haven't been confusing the two. McCain portrays a presidential candor? "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran"? Only if you consider GWB presidential can McCain possibly be seen to portray a presidential candor. He is easily to anger and harsh judgements, and foul-mouthed to boot.
    
    If Obama is starting to get angry, it's not surprising, the lies and intentional misrepresentations about him since this campaign began have been relentless. He sees his country going to the dogs and is probably starting to wonder if the only way he can win this campaign is to go against his own best intentions and get down and dirty. If he does this, I have no doubt he could take the campaign in a landslide. McCain has far too much dirt in his background. But Obama doesn't seem to want this campaign to be about dirt (and at one point, McCain expressed that same desire; clearly, he has decided he doesn't have a chance if it isn't).

        No, that was about all the smear directed against Obama. Obama is a Muslim, Michele and the Whitey Rant, Obama is a terrorist sympathizer, Obama will give all your money to Africa, etc. etc. etc.
        
        You can't be blind to the fact that the smear machine is on 24/7 with sometimes questionable attacks.
        
        Unless of course you never question the attacks, in which case you are blind.

        Never said he was. If you'll read the post, I said Obama might be getting angry about the lies and misrepresentations. They are taking hold, whatever their source, and McCain has denounced them a couple of times, but has since gone quite negative with his campaign also.
        
        I don't imagine Obama is getting angry with McCain, or even so much the McCain campaign. If he's getting angry, it's because people are buying the bullsh!t and refusing to see it for what it is.

        It doesn't take away all accountability, but he hasn't shown worse than McCain in the last while. Take a look at the thorough debunking of some chain emails going around, and try to honestly say that his drop in the polls is all due to true facts about Obama's character, and not due, at least in some way, to the lies being spread about him.

      Right like the lie about the abortion bill in ILL. No wait Obama lied about that one. Like the lie about Wright's sermons. I never heard them, no wait I heard them but didn't agree with them. How about Selma, The Life magazine article? No wait all lies by Obama. Who's the liar?
      No wait he's just a neighbor and our kid's went to school together. You get the point. When you state facts Obama says your lying. When is he going to apologize for calling the right to life folks liars?

  Has anyone asked John McCain if in all that time he was cheating on his first wife, and during the time he was sewing wild oats in Viet Nam, and then before that during the time he was sewing wild oats in Panama and elsewhere if any of the women he left in the lurch were forced into back-alley abortions. And if so, did any of the lose their lives in a back-alley abortion?
  
  A flake is someone who agrees to consider write the bible into the constitution. If we are going to do that we should define marriage as a PERMANT LIFE LONG relationship between a man and a women and make divorce illegal in every state in the USA.
