Hitting bottom means "seeing things like they are": America is a Dictatorship of the Rich on the way to being a Police State, the Bush/neocons are all of a piece with the Israeli lunatic fringe right wing which has been dictating American foreign policy like a dog wags a tail, and we are in a Class War between elites and cattle.
