I'd settle for a pizza created in a solar powered oven, but this is appealing in its own right. Kudos for ingenuity and creativity. Poor countries stand to benefit greatly from cheap solar.

Agreed...creativity and thinking outside of the box do have its rewards...!

      Congrats to her!

Very nice. Let's innovate and create clean power. Wind and sun are quite appealing but the energy companies haven't figured out how to control it, or profit mightily from it. They will.

I heard about nanotechnology solar panels promising to replace coal/gas/oil fired power plants. That would be great. I like the questions and qualifications. Something optimists often don't consider. I wonder what the cost of the exotic materials are, such as gallium. Sometimes a greatly increased demand for a rare metal can increase the market price of it by a large amount.

I would like to start a pizza place and make solar panels when business is slow. Keep the employees busy.

I look forward to the success of her pizza oven solar panels. Not mentioned were the reasons why it can't be scaled up faster. Pizza ovens are relatively cheap. I don't know about the materials.

The process is patented. Talk to the patentee.
