    FTA:
The Kitchen sink counter attack is almost certainly a coordinated effort to move the media - if not the political discussion - away from McCain's gaffe. And, by and large, the press has not taken the bait, likely because the meme that McCain is an elitist is fresh compared to the Obama lines (which were hit to death in the primary).

In a way, this could be a blessing for the Obama campaign. In all likelihood, McCain and his GOP allies were set to trot the Rezko and Ayers attacks out as the election approaches. They still might. But having those cards played in late August makes them all the more unremarkable if they are brought up again in late October.

I guess I owe you Obamans an apology. I had no idea I was supposed to respond to the how-many-houses non-issue by throwing the kitchen sink at Obama. Next time I'll try to do a better job of staying with the script that you Dems so desparately need to think we have.

There, there, widdle Bawack fans...is it all better now ???

        Off topic...

Good Morning America just presented a text message announcing Biden as the VP. The text message purportedly came from "a friend" of one of the commentators. It read that Obama has chosen Biden as "our VP."

No bias there. Nosiree. And even if the "friend" was a member of the Obama campaign, the correct presentation, assuming partiality was to rear its ugly head, would have been to replace "our" with a bracketed [his].
