    LOL...

I love the deep voice of the announcer...sounds like he knows what he's talking about, huh...

Housing problem for Obama? How? He got his house, I assume he's living in it comfortably, and I'm sure he doesn't have a problem with it. He paid off the land next to his house in full...no problem.

Funny how the ad doesn't let you know specifically what the so-called "political favors" are...kinda vague, don't you think? I assume they have the facts to back this up and that it's not a rumor, as we're all used to seeing here...but considering the source, we'll never know...

    Ah...swiftboating at it's best...

... what more details can you put in 30 seconds?

If you research this, it's a REAL STINKER for Obama.

A really creative campaign team for Obama's opponent could come up with a way...apparently they're not creative enough....

I guess they could talk really fast, but then most liberals wouldn't hear a thing.

But still, it's only 30 seconds.

Geez Spinner, it has been a few hours and i am still waiting for the links to your facts...are you sure that this is not just more lies? Hmmm, it is almost like the GOP just makes stuff up and then their sheep get all excited for a day or so until no facts come out.

              Thanks for asking!

The “House and property” that Obama got was worth $1.65 million, more than Obama could afford and the seller wanted to sell BOTH the house AND the empty adjacent lot at the same time.

In an AMAZING coincidence Rezko’s wife just happened to be at the same location on the same day looking to buy an empty lot!!!

The seller got what he wanted, sold both house and lot.
I haven’ heard of such an AMAZING coincidence since Duke Cunningham’s a$$ was hauled off to prison!

Hey I wonder if Cunningham and Rezko are in the same prison now? Humm?

Obama Paid $300,000 Less Than The Asking Price For His Mansion, While Tony Rezko’s Wife Paid Full Price For A
Vacant Lot Next Door On The Very Same Day.

“Two years ago, Obama bought a mansion on the South Side, in the
Kenwood neighborhood, from a doctor. On the same day, [Antoin ‘Tony’] Rezko’s wife, Rita Rezko, bought the vacant lot next
door from the same seller. The doctor had listed the properties for sale together. He sold the house to Obama for $300,000 below the asking price. The doctor got his asking price on the lot from Rezko’s wife.” (Tim Novak, “Obama And His Rezko Ties,”
              Chicago Sun-Times, 4/23/07)

The Seller Of Obama’s Home “Wanted To Sell Both Properties At The Same Time.” “On the same day Obama closed on his house, Rezko’s wife bought the adjacent empty lot, meeting the condition of the seller who wanted to sell
both properties at the same time.” (Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz, “The Rezko Connection,” ABC News’ “The Blotter” Blog,

So let me see if I'm right here.

Obama bought a house for BELOW the asking price (funny -- I did as well). His real estate agent's wife (also a real estate speculator) made sure he could buy the house by purchasing the empty lot thereby assuring a sale (and assuring an agents fee for her husband). Also assuring a sale for part of her lot, and allowing her to build for profit on the remaining portion of the lot.

Seriously. Is this the worst you can do? I know of at least three houses on double-plus lots that sold in this neighborhood under the asking price, after which the speculator who bought the house sold a portion of the empty lot and then developed the remaining lot. And that's within ten square blocks.

It's called the Real Estate Business and the heart of capitalism. What a bunch of whiners you people are. If he had violated even a rule of ethics you can be sure your attack dogs would have prosecuted long ago. Get a life.

Sorry Injest but i do not share your vast intellectual abilities, for a dunce like myself could you actually point out where the illegality lies? Might you also explain why the partisan DOJ under the Bush admin has not charged him to the full extent of the law? I am afraid i am left to ponder if he has actually done anything wrong or if you are just ****** off that he was smart enough to get himself an excellent deal and mayhap you were not?

you got your first fact wrong.

the seller was selling both pieces together or separately but wanted them to close on the same day. so, no sarcastically amazing coincidence took place, just a seller's stipulation.

I didn't even read the rest since you got your first point wrong.

True! However 48 thousand pages of court transcripts are a little hard to do in a 30 second ad. And lets not forget the ever evolving $50K to $250K campaign donations.

“Obama Provided Political Favors To Tony Rezko, Including
Writing Letters On His Behalf: “As A State Senator, Barack Obama Wrote Letters To City And State Officials Supporting His Political Patron Tony
Rezko’s Successful Bid To Get More Than $14 Million From Taxpayers To Build Apartments For Senior Citizens.”

(Tim Novak, “Obama’s Letters For Rezko,” Chicago Sun-Times, 6/13/07)

So far Rezko gave Obama $250K campaign donations and bought an empty lot $300K, $550K paid directly and indirectly to Obama and all Rezko got in return was
$14 Million of the Taxpayers money!

                    Injest...

Like I said, and I've seen this so I know....a great ad agency can distill those 48,000 pages down to a great 30 sec commercial if they know what they're doing. They could make an ad so great it would put Obama in his place and make him regret ever thinking about mentioning his opponent's homes...

But this ad doesn't do it..not even close...

Funny you should mention Obamas writing skills. How is it that he would write all sorts of letters on this guys behalf, yet when he was the Editor of the Harvard Law Review, he never penned a single word? Maybe he just did not have anything to say while in college.

Maybe .... being on a prestigious publication like this does not pay as well as writing endorsements to the state and city for your buddy to bilk the taxpayers out of their money?

Swiftboating? Exactly when did Obama serve in the Navy?”

Or are you using “Swiftboating” as a generic term like “sig alert” for a traffic jam, “Aspirin”, “Zipper”, “Channel locks”, “Crescent wrench”
