I'll pass on Reagan. You know, the guy who threw the mentally ill onto the streets & created the largest homelessness since the depression. The guy who virtually ignored HIV for six long years. The guy who squandered billions on his star wars fantasy after the experts told him we didn't have the knowledge to achieve it (& still don't). That guy.

1. Raised taxes on all Americans except the super-rich.
2. Has the worst economic record of any modern president (Carter had a better record on growth, wages and employment).
3. Killed 300,000 christians in Central America in league with christian fundamentalist fanatics, drug dealers, arms dealers, ....
4. Was almost as senile as McCain.-

I just gotta have a link.
McCain hasn't the faintest foggiest clue what's going on in the world.
He would be more puppet than evildoer.
A friend told me that there was no chance McCain would order a preemptive air strike on Iran. He said it was because Congress wouldn't allow it. I think Congress is out of the loop.

Reagan wasn't exactly persecuting Christians. Not because they were Christian.

But Christians there stood against his support of the movement to overthrow the Communist government. They were largely there on humanitarian missions. And Contra death squads killed many missionaries.
Look up Iran-Contra--it's a long, compliated story involving illegal arms sales (to a country that'd today be considered terrorists) and drug sales (to American cities) conducted by the Reagan administration to fund the Contras in Nicaragua.-

Reagan was also the guy who invented the Cut & Run, hence the nickname "Cut & Run Ronnie".
Before Reagan pulled the original surrender monkey in lebanon in 1982, the terrorists were afraid of America. After 1982, OBL and AQ starting laying the plans to attack the `paper tiger` in its homeland.
Oh, and we can still thank Reagan for about a dime or so in taxes out of every dollar going to service the Reagan debt instead of funding the WOT, SS, Medicare, education, infrastructure, etc.
Yeah, why can`t we find another Reagan? LOL.

However, if my friends here really feel obsessed about the Reagan name, they need look no further than Ron Reagan, the son of the former President, who is a remarkable person in his own right, and has been constantly exposing the stupidity of the Republican/NeoCon cabal.
