After numerous tests and doctors visits, we discovered that ingested bacteria caused our problems. Our conclusion, humorous at first, was that it must be the water. Letters from the water company revealed that the water was not up to par. Immediately we began to purchase bottled water. We were cautious about even using ice from our freezer and always feared that merely brushing out teeth might bring on the sickness. We knew we needed “to do something,” but what?
