Wasted food draining the world of water, experts say »

As much as half the water used to grow food worldwide is lost due to waste, experts said at a Stockholm conference that wrapped up Friday, pointing out that the squandered resources are a major contributor to global water shortages.

      Are they kidding. Are we really going to believe that there is a water shortage? Do you not remember 3rd grade science where you learned about the water cycle. Even if it is put on plants being watered and the food is eventually wasted the water still goes back into the water cycle. I have a hard time believing that we have a shortage of water. Just a thought thuogh.
