"There is huge waste and loss of water through food that is produced, since roughly 50 percent of the food that farmers grow is lost or wasted," said Jan Lundqvist, who heads the scientific programme at the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI)."

Are they kidding. Are we really going to believe that there is a water shortage? Do you not remember 3rd grade science where you learned about the water cycle. Even if it is put on plants being watered and the food is eventually wasted the water still goes back into the water cycle. I have a hard time believing that we have a shortage of water. Just a thought thuogh.
