The loquacious Delaware senator brings more than verbiage to Obama's side. Biden is a foreign policy heavyweight with a decade longer in the Senate than the seasoned Republican presidential candidate, John McCain. That's almost three more decades of experience than his new boss.

I know there will be some disagreement, but I generally like Biden. Imperfect yes, he voted to authorize the Iraq invasion. But like Hillary and many many others says it was based on fraudulent "facts" presented to them by the Cheneybush. Biden is no ideologue -rather he's a pragmatist and certainly brings experience to the table. This choice should silence the noise about Obama's inexperience or at least make it far less viable. Biden's record as a Senator is impressive. He's a good choice.

I loved that he left the line behind Obama, as soon as he saw his mama walk on stage, to give her a big hug. Doesn't get better than that, when speaking of 'value' for family.
