This is the second time I have read this story on here. I let out a guffaw or half-laugh the first time. This time, I let out a complete laugh. I half-got it the first time, but now I get it completely.

On a side note: if ambidextrous means the ability to use both hands equally well, why aren't people ambisexual? -

""I know it must have been tough for him to come out and tell us part of what he had to say. He should be very proud of half of himself."

Well now.... if half of him is 'out' where oh where could the other half be?
Out in limbo land still thinking about it?
But since mom is 3/4 for him( An' we all know that mom's have the ruling vote in any family situation.) that leaves 1/4 of him to be accepted so maybe the 3/4 of him that is accepted is still trying to convince the other 1/4th to 'come out' because what is good for 3/4 ths of him is a majority of the 4ths ie, a majority of the minorities; for as Voltaire said in Candide..."And they who assert that everything is right, do not express themselves correctly; they should say that everything is best." So the dissenting 1/4 th should do what is best for the accepted 3/4ths and go with the majority of 4ths.
Hummm.... need another drink on that one.-

I'm reminded of Woody Allen's line about the big advantage of being bisexual: you have a greater chance of getting a date on Saturday night.
Of course bisexuality is an "imposed" notion: human sexuality resists being boxed--many of move along a continuum of sexual expression, at different times in our lives, for different reasons, in response to different circumstances.-

Woody also said "There's nothing wrong with masturbation, it's sex with someone I love."

Science has yet to establish a link between the percentage of a person's day spent pursuing onanism and level of hirsuteness to the hand's inner surface.
Research continues among many young scientists.
