According to the Bush-Cheney White House, McCain wasn't tortured, so you might as well drop that torture-makes-him-a-hero line.

Why don't they use his middle name? No one calls me by my middle name. In fact a lot of presidents don't tout their middle name. I wonder why Repugnant Cons make such a big deal out of his middle name? It couldn't be latent racism, could it?-
