--Maybe oil prices were high because they spike every time there is turmoil in oil rich countries. Why do cons refuse to understand that it's Bush's illegal war that largely responsible for us burning up so much of our oil He couldn't have just stopped at using Afghanistan as an excuse to bankrupt country and pad the military. He had to be greedy and deceitful and now you cons must pay the price for your unbelievably poor judgement. You also should have known that gas wouldn't always be $1.50 a gallon (which is about what it was when Clinton left the White House for the last time) and followed your own advice and been prepared. But nooooooo... Cons are trying to blame Democrats for something that is largely the fault of the President and the GOP Congress. Accept responsibility for your choices and actions just like you're preaching to those people in foreclosure. Hypocrisy is a very ugly character flaw and dangerous., too. ;-(
