I've been there several times with family members recently. The facility itself is outstanding, and the colocation of related services makes it much easier to get patients through tests and visits. The doctors I've met have been up front about health situations so patients can digest the information and move forward with treatment, rehabilitation, and necessary life changes. They even have parking set up to be as convenient as possible. The main doctors even give short lists of the other specialists on staff who would be best to treat a given medical condition. I'd definitely go there myself.

Georgetown has a great patient model, too. I was impressed with the care and professionalism there as well.

It's true that rich people can go wherever they wish, since that comes with the territory. But it's not true that only the rich can afford these hospitals. Many times a hospital is chosen in an emergency by location and/or specialty. People with health insurance obviously have an easier time paying the bills.
