Pieces of a marble sculpture depicting the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius were discovered at archaeological site in the ancient city of Sagalassos, Turkey. Known as one of the so-called "Five Good Emperors," Aurelius ruled from 161AD-180AD, and was portrayed by actor Richard Harris in the 2000 film Gladiator.

I love Roman history.
But I never liked Marcus Aurelius, and you are supposed to because he was this humble philisophical noble soul in a dying culture;
I have tried more than once to make it all the way through his book of meditations and it is like reading someones posts talking about themselves.
Which is what I am doing, isn't it?
Ok, but this is diferent because I am not emperor.
But I ought to be.
If I were emperor, things would be diferent!
