I read about this a couple of days ago. Apparently, this is an aspirin-like compound that is already considered safe. Perhaps just 4 years to approval. Good news, indeed.

I'd like to know what they mean by cancer treatment. Does it slow it down, stop it from spreading, cure it? This is great news, there are millions of plants and animals out there with medical secrets in them, we just have to find them.

This story is a waste of time. Such a story is published in the "popular" press about once a week. It is usually a political gesture by the scientists involved to improve their local prestige and/or their ability to attract funding. There are literally thousands of such compounds under investigation and 99.99% of them will never lead to anything useful.

It is particularly useless to speak of "cancer" cures since cancer has been known for at least 20 years to be a whole series of different diseases. Even a cancer of a single organ (e.g. breast) is a series of different diseases in different people.

That is Fantastic news, I was reading an article about two week ago on the hub_pages where a gentlemen had stage 4 cancer and he used habenros peppers, garlic, and a few other natural items and he cured himself, yes, I could believe it, but it's true, it happened to him back in 1998 and now he's using his hubpages to help others...Great Post..
