Comments for Taking It On Faith »
Posted By JamesMarcus 1 year, 4 months ago in NewsBefore the convention had even begun, the DNCC kicked things off with an elaborate interfaith forum at the Colorado Convention Center. The Propeller team spoke to several audience members as they left the auditorium, and found a mostly inspired crowd--although at least one Republican in attendance expressed some doubts about the mingling of religion and politics.

Loved the video, James...thanks. In 1988, I had the pleasure and honor of being a volunteer page for the Democratic Convention here in Atlanta. The speeches I remember the most came from Ann Richards, John F. Kennedy Jr., and Rev. Jesse Jackson.

Thanks for posting this James. The temptation for candidates to prove or disprove their religious zeal and afiliations has become nothing more than a divisive detour from the real and serious issues facing us as Americans. I, for one, am sick and tired of the media and the candidates trying to prove how much they love and worship their conceptions of God. I have no problem with inter-faith non-sectarian forums that are all inclusive. However, the thrust of the campaigns thus far have been contradictory to the goals of inclusiveness and tolerance between religious and non religioius people. This needs to be put to rest in this country. It seems more like a throw back to the days of witch burning and puritanism.

Hmmm... for some reason, you posted in bold and so did I without meaning too. I think I must of forgot to close out the command, which means that this should be addressed in some fashion. Good thing this popped up in James' thread, I suppose.
I closed the command, I believe, in this post.
Or I tried too.
Apparently not? Well the, this needs to be looked at, I guess. I think I know whats going on, with my limited knowledge of coding.
Sorry, James. I think most posts after this point will be in bold on this thread.
Maybe it will add a sense of importance to the thread? At least I didn't use the strike command and forget to add the closing command...

Sorry Mdiar, I had to close your previous comment, as it was turning all subsequent comments bold. Here is what you said, minus the HTML:
"I would like to see more of these inter-faith forums. It is a good way to accept other religions and encourage diversity.
Nice submission. I'm almost afraid to blink this election, for fear I miss something important!"
