Brain injuries in U.S. combat veterans largely undiagnosed »
Posted By ameliog 1 year, 3 months ago in Science & TechnologyThese symptoms, which may be subtle and may not surface for weeks or months after their return, are often debilitating enough to hobble lives and livelihoods. How long will it be allowed to continue?
What I want to know is when the people who claim to Love America and be concerned about it's political processes but waste all their time flinging political poodoo at each other are going to DO something about it.

it makes me not want to serve my country. it makes me mad. what exactly are we fighting for, what are all these brain injuries worth. or is it just a ploy to say that the returning soldiers are brain damaged and we should not trust there accounts of the war. its sounds like a set up for a smoke screen

Wasn't it only about 6 months ago that an Air Force Colonel at teh Pentagon said that the military had not even attempted to test for the signature injury of the Iraq war for two years.... the traumatic brain injury from IEDs!

These repugs lie that they take care of the military! Its all an excuse to let sole source unaudited contracts and spend money on big problems like star wars that we, nor the world, doesn't need.... the money can be better spent helping Americans recover from these injuries, if possible at all!
McCain or McBush, whatever you want to call him, is right on with the corrupt, uncaring repugs on taking car of our soldiers! Bomb Bomb Iran... to get more injured soldiers for nothing! -
