Barack Obama is qualified because MILLIONS of Americans selected him after long consideration during a long, tedious, hard fought contest.
Surely you must realize this.
It was just 6 years ago that my fellow Christian Conservatives preferred a different young man ....
-- a man vowed to mediocrity ....
-- a man who ducked out of his National Guard duty because of impending, mandatory drug testing ....
-- an admitted alcoholic ....
-- an admitted cocaine user ....
-- a stealer of land using Eminent Domain rather than a gun
-- a deficit spender
-- one who would lie to launch an arbitrary war
-- one who evaporates surpluses like a puddle in an Arizona parking lot
Now ... my friendly fellow Christian Conservatives have steadfastly supported this young man ... even in spite of his recklessness .... which could have been predicted ... given his choice of Mediocrity as a Lifestyle Choice.
Maybe we should all consider that someone with much higher intellectual discipline .... we can expect a LOT more than the DISASTROUS last eight years.-

Goppy, you said "Barack Obama is qualified because MILLIONS of Americans selected him after long consideration during a long, tedious, hard fought contest."

No, Goppy, that makes him the nominee. It says nothing about his qualifications for the Presidency.
And contrasting to Bush is not a logical argument, because the man isn't running. Also, it is not wise to suggest that one man is better because he didn't do all things that another man is done. What that points out is how little the other man has done. No one who has achieved greatness has avoided failure at some point.
