One by one the states will struggle with whether gays are equal citizens or not worthy of the same rights as everyone else. One by one the states continue to collect taxes from gay couples, but charge them the individual rate, rather than the married rate. One by one gay couples will rise up from their second class citizenship status and demand that the courts overturn the tyranny of the religious reich.

Iowa has always been the most liberal state in the mid-west, good to see that a place bordering my own state may just legalize same sex marriage, pending a hearing and decision by the Court. Very good to see actually. I've always liked Iowa.
