i had the good fortune to meet him, briefly, at a friend's house. he impressed me as entirely honest, sincere, knowledgdable about issues, and willing to speak about them directly.

if obama wins, and gives dennis a prominent role, i promise to retract all the doubts and hesitations i've expressed about him... but i don't think brzezinski would go along.

berkeley, what an honor to have met that beautiful man!
I have a friend who ran into Dennis at a restaurant, and they had breakfast together.
he'll cherish that experience for a lifetime.

          I've met his wife.

But this is Kucinich's primary function - to lure progressives back into the Democrat fold, and in the end leave them to the tender mercies of DNC insiders who are not progressive at all.

he's made the difficult decision to stay with the party when it's leader, pelosi, opposes him at every turn. that was the one question he admitted was a constant challenge.

the dnc, for the past 15 years, have taken the corporate side at every opportunity. they are the opposite of progressive, and both clintons and gore support them fully.

elizabeth is definitely his equal in most areas and his superior in height and beauty. he's lucky to have found her.

Yup! He is for real. Sure like to see him play an active role in the next administration. Perhaps a cabinet level post.
