um...Mitt Romney will be selcted and when he is, you guys are toast....

In fact, Osama is going to regret ever picking a "has been" like Biden...

I'll give you that Biden is an excellent debator, but Romney would eat his lunch during a VP debate....

And I for one, can't wait to see it.....

More likely he'd steal his lunch and give it to the wealthy 2% of which he is part of. lol.

A statement was made about a debate between Romney and Biden and not any of the others you mentioned. But even those filthy rich people support Obama's taxes for the rich and tax cuts for the poor and middle class.
So, you might want to make sure you know what you're talking about BEFORE you make an a$$ of yourself.... mr. graduate.

You do a pretty good job of making an a$$ of yourself....Romney is good with numbers and debating. BUT don't you think his Mormon religion is going to alienate evangelicals, whom McCain has a patchy relationship with at best?

            Romney is McCain's death sentence.

Romney and McCain had many good arguments against each other in the primaries. I hope that Romney is the choice. It would be hilarious to see McCain squirm at how he used Biden`s primary arguments against Obama but that the Dems using Romney statements against McCain are not fair.

Besides, Romney sucked in the Republican primary debates. He got his arse reamed. Who says he is good at debates? That has never been his forte. Romney forte is talking to a camera with no one around to challenge his BS. Of course that applies to the entire RW.

Well, I've only seen McCain and Romney debate once, but the one I saw, McCain used some sort of statistic against Romney, and Romney countered with a seemingly endless barrage of statistics and facts against McCain and concluded with something like, "Facts are tricky things, Mr. McCain" or something to that effect. I was pretty impressed.

Of course, that's just a one time judgement.

i think you need to learn a little bit about the world before posting horse s*it. i don't recall dems making enormous oil deals with the saudis, i don't remember dems trying to sell our ports to dubai, and i sure as hell don't remember dems trying to fund a BS war to create more terrorists by borrowing money from china.

oh, and you need to grow up, you graduated FSU in '92, YOU'RE EFFING OLD. get used to it.

I assume FSU has fixed that by now by making critical thinking skills courses a requirement to graduate.

If you cons had any sense at all, you'd realize that in an election year strongly favoring Democrats, the worse the "Dem Congress" performs, the uglier November is going to turn out for Republicans. Once again, no matter which party is in control of Congress, the approval rating is a reflection of the job performance of the entire Congress. Republicans still poll worse than Democrats (partly because the GOP has spent the last two years record filibustering Democrats and partly because of Bush's disgraceful failure, shocking incompetence and the uncovering of more and more administrations lies and crime by the day). And why do you think you should be gloating over the fact that you're paying your elected officials to do nothing? That's kinda twisted, IMO. ;-(

Not a christian zionist israel-firster are you? Condi sold out America for her own personal profit long ago.

Condi Rice and the Neocon Plan for the Palestinians

... Condi Rice is likely the least qualified Secretary of State in recent history, especially considering her field of expertise is the Soviet Union, a political non-entity. However, since Washington is all about who you know--or suck up to--Rice is an appropriate selection for the Bushcons, considering she was a tenured professor of political science at Stanford, stomping grounds for the Hoover Institution, a neocon "public policy research center," on occasion referred to as Bush's "brain trust." Between 1985 and 1986, Condi was a national fellow at the Hoover Institution....

.... It should be remembered that Rice, as a Christian Zionist, disclosed a "deep bond to Israel" back in 2003. "I first visited Israel in 2000," Rice told the Jewish Press on May 13, 2003. "I already then felt that I am returning home despite the fact that this was a place I never visited. I have a deep affinity with Israel. I have always admired the history of the State of Israel and the hardness and determination of the people that founded it," apparently as well admiring the "hardness" of the Israeli settler movement, the crown jewel of all things Likudite. "I think that we, Israel and the U.S., share common values. Israel is the only democracy in the region," a democracy that has locked 2,896,000 Palestinians (as of 1997) into the world's largest open-air prison and has strived unhindered to further turn their shrinking geography into Bantustans....

Of course, as a neocon acolyte, Condi Rice is not interested in peace in the Middle East, least of all between the Palestinians and Israelis, and even less so then her predecessor, who was often at odds with the Bushcon "crazies," as he so famously called them. Rice's Hoover Institution is closely aligned with other neocon foundations, including the Project for a New American Century and the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, the latter particularly rabid in its opposition to any meaningful resolution of the conflict--that is to say, Israel's theft and occupation of Palestinian land--and continually cranks out propaganda designed to demonize not only the Palestinians, but Arabs and Muslims in general....

...As should be obvious to all who pay attention, the Bush administration, in regard to the Middle East, is a mirror reflection of the Likudites in Israel, who are fanatically opposed to the establishment of a Palestinian state and will "adopt immediate stringent measures in the event of such a declaration," as their political platform states. As well, the colonization of the West Bank and Gaza "are the realization of Zionist values" and the theft of Palestinian land "is a clear expression of the unassailable right of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel ...

Actually I think what you saw exit the building was the imploding GOP's last desperate hope that Hillary would be on the ticket. So what we end up with on the one hand is a Presidential nominee who, after his first wife was badly injured in a car accident, treated her like an old used up flea infested mattress before cheating on her and then dumping her for a repulsive but obscenely wealthy bleach blonde drug-addicted shrew who applies make up by trowel each morning (and yet somehow manages to look even worse than she does without it) and on the other hand you have a VP nominee who lost his first wife and daughter in an terrible accident and went on to raise his two surviving children himself. Tough call. ;-x
