This article contrasts the speech given by Michelle Obama at the Democratic National Convention on Monday evening with the one given by Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night. Michelle's speech is described as fearless in its passionate reminder for us to “strive for the world as it should be,” and as a brave defense of maintaining hope in the sometimes difficult pursuit of our dreams. Hillary's speech, on the other hand, turned out to be another example of the Clintons' mastery in the dramatic art of pointing at themselves and saying “attention must be paid to us!” Her speech turned out to be yet another spectacle of the narcissistic conviction of personal and political entitlement that has been a long-time congenital characteristic of both Clintons. In the end, it came down to being all about her. The article also presents a re-playable live-blogging of the events that took place at the Democratic convention on Tuesday, a number of great photographs, two videos (a music video and the video of Hillary's speech). In addition a remarkable photo-gallery documents the entire course of Obama's presidential campaign, and is accompanied by music audio.
