    The genius of the Beatles music was the effort of ALL four of them, and are the #1 band of all time for me. I really don't see how anyone can argue that, based on record sales, popularity, influence and song writing ability. no one had more impact than the Beatles.

      I might add, Without John Lennon there would be no Beatles.

          John Lennon...... 'Where are we going, fellas?' They'd go, 'To the top, Johnny!' And I'd say, 'Where's that, fellas?' and they'd say, 'To the toppermost of the poppermost!' and I'd say, 'Right!'
