Comments for DNC Day 3: Republican Senator Refuses to Answer Real Questions, Corporate Media Zombies Look On »
Posted By jovial 1 year, 4 months ago in NewsU.S. Senator Jon Kyl, the Republican from Arizona, showed up at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night. He was mobbed by "reporters" from the corporate media (people with large video cameras and microphones who turn them on, point them towards famous people, and allow them to say whatever they want without ever challenging them in any way) out front of the Pepsi Center in Denver.

I'm not sure it was MSM. I've noticed that whenever the press mobs someone and shoves mikes in their face, there's always a logo around the mike so it gets on camera.

I may have missed something, but I didn't see any logos on the mikes in that clip.
Could it have been a set-up to try to draw larger media?-

They were zoomed in on his face. I did notice there was some logos at the around the 50 second mark of the video, but I couldn't make it out. I think the mike sade Arizona?? I never knew Brad blog to make up stories. The fact is he made an accusation and he evaded expanations for it. That's the point Brad was trying to make.

I didn't think it was Brad blog (I can't imagine why they'd do that). I was thinking it could have been a bunch of fake reporters planted by Kyl or some Republican group to get more attention from real reporters.

But you're right--now that I looked again, there was the one microphone with something wrapped around it that said "Arizona."

I didn't need to see this video to know Jon Kyl often makes misleading comments about his adversaries -- that he represents special interests, subscribes to the politics of division, and follows Karl Rove's tactics of character assassination and smear. He is another one who is quick to point the finger regardless of the facts. Most of us are sick of that kind of crap even when it is demonstrated by Democrats too.

This country needs to get rid of politicians who place their personal careers, special interests cronies, and their political parties before their loyalty to the nation's best interests.
For those who are not aware of it, Jon Kyl
is a former lobbyist himself; just another boot-licking Washington insider who does little for this country but take... -

What an arrogant, lying SOB the 'good' Senator is. The only viable news person there appears to be from Brad's Blog. I think I'll have to email the Senator; "What statistics did Bill Clinton lie about, Senator?"

<<<so I tried to ask him how McCain could deal with the two parties as an honest broker, given that he has senior campaign staffers who are paid lobbyists for Georgia.>>>
And I think I'll throw that question in for good measure.-

OK. All done.

Dear Senator Kyl
There were two questions asked you during an interview that you apparently didn't have the time to answer. I would appreciate your enlightening me, so that I may make an informed decision when voting in the November election. Thank you in advance for helping me to reach a decision.
1. What statistics did Bill Clinton lie about in his speech?
2.How can Senator McCain deal with the two parties (Russia and Georgia) as a neutral broker, given that he has senior campaign staffers who are paid lobbyists for Georgia?-

Such a thing could NEVER be done! It would be sheer lunacy.
Reply
It would be like faking intelligence, making up lies, and then invading a sovereign nation just to make money.
It would be like condeming other nations who appear to do the same - calling it "unacceptable."
It would be like disregarding an intelligence source that warned of a possible terrorist attack because it came from a previous administration.
It would be like taking a balanced budget and minuscle national debt and then bankrupting the nation by starting a war, passing out the money as huge tax cuts to large corporations and ultra-rich Americans leaving the nation 10 trillion in debt.
Indeed. Who would do such a thing?
Unimagineable! -
