    yes and no.

    the military did say that. they also said he caused over $3000 damage to every machine that they claimed he looked at. however, they did that solely to be able to charge him at all.

    he did mightily embarrass them and cost them lots of time, but he did not damage any system whatsoever. he simply typed in "admin" for a password, knowing that was the default. it worked almost every time.

    when the charges against him are so arbitrary, the odds on him receiving a fair trial here approach zero.
